Rocky Point Big Fish Mar 2012

These 3 pictures were fish caught back in Mar of this year.  Boat Caballo del Mar, Captain Pancho at the helm.  You got to see the Video on another post prior to this one.  The 1st is a Grouper fish.  Looks like a picture but I guarantee it's not...it's the Real deal.  The middle photo was a Sierra. fish.  You can see where the tail was eaten off....by what, well not sure of that.  Then there's another big fish from that same video.  Come to Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico for the Fun and for the Big fish.

Rocky Point Fishing At It's Best

This video was taped back in Mar 2012.  Clients were fishing off boat Caballo del Mar with Capt Pancho at the helm.  They were out 22 miles off shore from Rocky Point.  Rocky Point is an awesome beachfront community with 1st class accommodations, great food, friendly people and some of the Best fishing anywhere.  A short 4 hr drive south of  Phoenix and Tucson , AZ.  Come for the Fun Come for the Big Fish.

The weather is warm here "south of the border"  but with the Sea of Cortez at our doorsteps it gives us cool summer nights and great ocean conditions to swim.  There are beautiful white sandy beaches for miles making "awesome" the only word to describe it.  Also there is some of the Best fishing anywhere in the world right here at Puerto Penasco, "Rocky Point", Sonora, Mx.  A short 4 hr drive from Phoenix or Tucson, AZ.  And with the opening of the new "coastal highway" from El Golfo, Mexico,  Rocky Point is a close destination from many cities in CA.  After spending many years here we can honestly say this is a very nice, safe tourist destination with great food, good entertainment, friendly people and 1st class accommodations.  Make your next trip to this beautiful beachfront community.....you'll be pleasantly surprised and glad you did.

This "monster" 100 lb Grouper fish was well I'd have to say the 1st really big fish caught off the 44 ft sport fishing boat Caballo del Mar. Many of you know or have fished with Captain Pancho in the past. He can manuver the boat so well and of using his favorite GPS headings he is able to keep you on fish all day long. The Caballo del Mar is the newest boat operated by SantiagosOceanServices in Puerto Penasco, (RockyPoint) Sonora, Mx. I am posting this picture and others to let you see that there are truely Big fish in this part of the Sea of Cortez at Rocky Point.

 This past summer, July 2012, we experienced literally some of the Best fishing of all times here on the beautiful Sea of Cortez at Rocky Point, Sonora, Mx..  Captain Pancho knocked em dead out there thru out the month on different fishing trips.  The weather was "Hot" and so was the fishing.   This was a nice sized 75 lb Grouper fish.  The boat Caballo del Mar.  Keep in mind Rocky Point is only a short 4 hr drive from Phoenix and Tucson, AZ.  It is a safe tourist destination.

 Here's another Big fish brought in by Captain Pancho in July.  Told you the fishing was "Hot".  This Grouper fish weighed in at 82 lbs.

Ok while this Grouper fish wasn't a really Big one it weighed in at 68 lbs.  Our clients were very happy never the less.  July was a killer month with Captain Pancho on the boat Caballo del Mar bringing in 12 Big Grouper fish alone.  I'll be posting the one he is the most proud of........the Monster Grouper fish.
