The weather is warm here "south of the border" but with the Sea of Cortez at our doorsteps it gives us cool summer nights and great ocean conditions to swim. There are beautiful white sandy beaches for miles making "awesome" the only word to describe it. Also there is some of the Best fishing anywhere in the world right here at Puerto Penasco, "Rocky Point", Sonora, Mx. A short 4 hr drive from Phoenix or Tucson, AZ. And with the opening of the new "coastal highway" from El Golfo, Mexico, Rocky Point is a close destination from many cities in CA. After spending many years here we can honestly say this is a very nice, safe tourist destination with great food, good entertainment, friendly people and 1st class accommodations.
